Our business process is composed of five independent programs: Startup, Business Lab, Business Accelerator, Go Global and Go Global Medtech. All focuses on individual and international development of your business concept. STING is aimed at entrepreneurs and innovators from academia, research institutes and industry.
Your business should have a large international market potential and we work mainly with the ideas in information and communication technology (ICT), Internet/media, medical technology and energy/environmental technology. But in the end it's not technology that sells but people. Admission also requires the right attitude and drive.
 Startup − A training programme to strengthen your business idea
Startup is a practical trainingprogram for the individual with an idea for a potential exportoriented company. Here, as a researcher, innovator, or entrepreneur, you will receive an excellent foundation for the eventual establishment of your business. You should have a technology-based product idea that you want to verify. The programme consists of 10 workshops within key business areas.
The program is offered free of charge − all you invest is your time and enthusiasm.

Business Lab is designed for the people who have a product idea or research finding which they wish to develop and test at the preliminary level. A highly experienced business coach will help you half a day per week, analyzing the technical and commercial preconditions for building an international company.

In Business Accelerator, BA, we support the development of newly established technology companies that have the potential to become the export companies of the future. To ensure a powerful realization of your business idea you will have access to a business coach a half day per week. You and/or your team should have progressed from the initial start phase to the final stage of the product development phase and be ready to begin marketing.

The Go Global program is an integral part of the Business Lab (BL) and Business Accelerator (BA) and is based on three steps: Ready, Steady and Go! carried out during the time you are in the BL and BA. The Go Global program will help you to work out a sharp internationalization plan. The program ends with that you can present your internationalization plan for a group of international investors and experts.

As the medtech market becomes increasingly global, companies with new and exciting products are seeing a rapidly expanding range of opportunities − and challenges. However, labyrinthine regulatory frameworks and the peculiarities of different national legal requirements make breaking into the healthcare market notoriously difficult. To take part in the program, your company must have a product already on the market, with sales underway. The program is open to companies based in Sweden.
