TOMOlogic definitive winner of Venture Cup Sweden Final
2010-06-10 Among more than 1000 business ideas, it was yesterday, finally, 12 of Sweden's future growth companies made up for the prestigious title of "Winner of Venture Cup 09/10". The winners were STING's company TOMOlogic from Stockholm, with an optimization system for metal cutting in manufacturing, that is expected to save tens of billions of euros. In addition to the honor they where also rewarded with 200 000 SEK."Obviously we are extremely proud and happy over the victory! This gives us a clear stamp of quality and that we now have an interesting conversation with global partners," said Magnus Norberg Ohlsson, CEO of TOMOlogic.
TOMOlogic develops a web-based service that provides manufacturing efficiency by significantly cutting plans and reduces material waste by up to 50%. By optimizing the industrial processes, customers can both reduce costs and carbon emissions.
"TOMOlogic is a shining example of how hugely important it is with a deep understanding of the customer's problem - Magnus Norberg Olson himself stood and cursed over the waste at the cutting machines. The company is currently in STING's business incubator and has previously received commercial support from KTH Innovation:
