Meet the 55 innovative startups and growth companies at STING Day
2010-06-08 This year held for the first time STING - a forum for the exchange of knowledge and contacts to foster innovative enterprises in the ambition to build international growth.On June 14, 55 innovative startups and growth companies, 65 investors and 80 other key people in industry and academia will meet on STING Day, to network and share knowledge.
"The question is whether it ever in Sweden have been collected so many promising young companies with potential to become tomorrow's big export companies? Through this event we hope to create many interesting new business opportunities that benefit businesses in their continued international growth," says Pär Hedberg, CEO of business incubator STING (Stockholm Innovation & Growth AB).
Through workshops, trend search and panel discussions ventilating different issues with a focus on creating better conditions for entrepreneurs and to build successful growth companies. Among other things, an organized debate in how to ensure the provision of finance for companies in early stages. Here, investors, politicians and representatives of public seed financing system will provide their best proposal. STING Day ends with a social evening and award ceremony STING Awards, where the company has distinguished itself in different ways in the last year appointed.
"The event is full and I am happy with the mix of interesting people. It speaks of a good networking. In addition to participating companies in the STING-sphere, we have from 46 applications selected 16 startups in the morning pitching their idea for our STING's business coaches, says Jessica Stark, project manager for the STING Day.
