Startup - the training program that jumpstarts your business idea
Do you have an innovative business idea aimed at a larger international market? Are you a researcher, innovator or entrepreneur wondering whether to invest in your idea or are you unsure of how to do it? Apply to the Startup programme!What is Startup?
Startup is a practically oriented training programme that helps you formulate and refine your business idea to make sure you have a great foundation for starting your own company. The programme consists of ten workshops on key subjects such as business models, sales strategies, entry barriers, internationalisation, financing alternatives, leadership and more.The course combines theory with practical application. Experienced entrepreneurs and experts also provide inspiration and help you refine your idea. By developing your business plan, you will be able to decide whether you are ready to launch or not. At the end of the course, you will have the chance to present your business plan to an exclusive network of people who could prove valuable to you in the future. An award for the “Best Startup Project” will also be announced at the final session. This programme is offered free of charge. The only thing you need to invest is your time and commitment.
How is the program designed?
The programme starts on October 27 and meetings are held on Thursdays, 4:30-8:30pm, at KTH Campus Valhallavägen. The final investor pitches will be given the first week of February. Between meetings, STING's experienced business coaches give assignments and provide some individual coaching. If you want to take your business idea further after the Startup course, you can apply to STING's Business Lab pre-incubator.
Who can apply?
The programme is designed for individuals who have an innovative business idea with significant international growth potential. Scalability is an important criterion. You should also have the drive needed to start a company based on your idea. We would prefer that your team consists of two to three people and includes both men and women. Cost
The programme is offered free of charge. You contribute your time and your burning enthusiasm. Should you, however, choose not to complete the program, a fee of SEK 1 000 will be charged.
Discretion
At the start of the programme, all participants and organizers will sign a privacy agreement. No information about any business idea, technology, or participant names will be spread outside of the programme without your express approval.
