TranSiC designs and manufactures bipolar energy transistors in silicon carbide. With the help of these advanced components, TranSiC′s customers can develop more compact and temperature resistent steering systems for electric motors that will grace the next generation′s electric hybrids and wind power stations. TranSiC was acquired by Fairchild Semiconductor in the spring of 2011.
