Swedish Cortus delivers new environmentally friendly gasification technology to Nordkalk
Cortus AB and Nordkalk AB has signed a twelve year contract for supply of biogas to the
Nordkalk factory in Köping, Sweden. Cortus innovative gasification technology WoodRoll
will reduce energy costs and lower greenhouse effect of the Nordkalk operations. The
Biogas from Cortus reduces Nordkalk’s consumption of coal as an energy source for the
benefit of renewable energy.

Telecom Company OptiCall Software has now secured funding through growth Tedfeldt CO and Västra Götaland Region. The company has products in the software for mobile switches with unique call optimization for mobile telephony.

TOMOlogic definitive winner of Venture Cup Sweden Final
Among more than 1000 business ideas, it was yesterday, finally, 12 of Sweden's future growth companies made up for the prestigious title of "Winner of Venture Cup 09/10". The winners were STING's company TOMOlogic from Stockholm, with an optimization system for metal cutting in manufacturing, that is expected to save tens of billions of euros. In addition to the honor they where also rewarded with 200 000 SEK.
